Who we are
Bo Labs LLC ("Bo Labs," "we," "us," or "our") builds software tools for small businesses, including StockMatch. This policy applies to bolabsllc.com and to the StockMatch web and mobile applications. If you have questions about this policy, see the Contact section below.
Information we collect
We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us:
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, and any credentials needed to connect your point-of-sale system.
- Product data. To do its job, StockMatch processes invoice and inventory data you provide or connect — such as distributor invoice files and point-of-sale catalog and quantity information.
- Support requests. When you contact us for support, we collect what you submit, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
- Usage information. We may collect basic technical information, like device and browser type, IP address, and how you interact with our website and apps, to keep them running reliably.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our products and this website
- Match invoice line items to your point-of-sale catalog and apply the inventory updates you request
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account
- Monitor and improve the reliability, security, and performance of our products
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
- With your point-of-sale provider. When you connect a POS system to StockMatch, we exchange the data necessary to read your catalog and apply the inventory updates you request.
- With service providers. We use a small number of third-party services (such as hosting and infrastructure providers) to operate our products, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- For legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Bo Labs, our customers, or others.
- With your consent. In any other case, only with your permission.
Data retention
We keep account and product data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide our products to you. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security purposes.
Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we handle, including encryption in transit and access controls on production systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can review and update your account information at any time by contacting us. You may also ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to the retention exceptions described above. If you no longer wish to receive non-essential emails from us, you can opt out using the link in those emails or by contacting us directly.
Children's privacy
Our products are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we'll take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our products and practices evolve. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
